POV: What It’s Like to Be a Sample Inside a PhotonAssay™ Unit

We put a camera inside a sample jar and ran it through a PhotonAssay™ unit. This is what it looks like from the inside. A unique point-of-view look at the PhotonAssay™ process – the conveyor, the irradiation chamber, the detection stage – experienced from exactly where the sample sits.

What you’ll learn

  • Watch step by step from phase one where the sample is scanned in by the operator (phase 1)

  • Next the sample moves on to in feed (phase 2), barcode scan and combine (phase 3)

  • The sample then moves into irradiation (phase 4) and detection (phase 5)

  • Then finally, cooling and outfeed of the sample from the PhotonAssay™ unit (phase 6)
